The Device Build and Release team is tasked with building the machinery that takes code and brings it to end users. We are responsible for delivering the highest quality build and release solutions for Pixel devices. We collaborate with Pixel SW, Android, and other PDPA device software teams to identify the build and release process and infrastructure issues, and deliver infrastructure solutions to drive end-to-end quality across Pixel devices.In this role, you will be developing well-architected, innovative, and elegant software tools and services.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.Responsibilities
  • Work with multiple teams across organizations to solve technical problems that enable feature teams to ship quality code at high velocity.
  • Take end-to-end leadership on scalable infrastructure that spans across device software and services.
  • Generate the ideas required to solve technical problems and take full ownership of the solution.
  • Build working collaborations with cross-functional peers. Identify and share opportunities and technical context that inform cross-functional efforts.
